Andrey Bolshiyanov

Born in 1947 in Leningrad. Graduated from Leningrad Conservatory and finished his post–graduate studies in 1973, and one an international competition the same year. Soloist of the Maly Opera & Ballet in 1970–1977. Since 1977, Andrey Bolshiyanov has been a soloist of the Academic Symphony Orchestra of St. Petersburg Philharmonic, with which he has toured in over 30 countries of the world.

Mr. Bolshiyanov actively teaches at the Rimsky–Korsakov Conservatory and at the State University of Culture and Arts in St. Petersburg; he is also director of the Music School of Admiralteisky District.
