She graduated from the Rimsky–Korsakov Music College, and in 2003, St. Petersburg Conservatoire (with Professor T.V. Novikova). Feeling equally easy in a recital and in a chorus, the young singer actively concretizes in and outside Russia, both as soloist and member of several ensembles.

Since 1992, Ms. Vlasenkova has been a soloist of the LEGE ARTIS Chamber Choir, with which she has toured in dozens of countries and has recorded several compact disks. Working with renowned ensemble has extended the repertoire of the singer (Alexandra Vlasenkova performs ancient and current music, and Romantic programs), and has opened prospects for an interesting solo career.
