 The Youth Chamber Choir of St. Petersburg
 

 
The Choir was founded in 1992 by Yulia Khutoretskaya, and its singers were students and graduates of music schools and colleges of St. Petersburg. The choir regularly appears at the best concert halls of St. Petersburg, tours abroad (in Germany, Switzerland, France, Spain, Japan, the United States), and every year participates in all important festivals held in St. Petersburg. The Choir's repertoire embraces music of different epochs and styles, from Gregorian chorales, motets of Lotti and Palestrina, Bach and Gesualdo, to popular melodies of Gershwin and Ellington, Dunayevsky and Andrey Petrov. The choir performs compositions of the greatest masters of the 2nd half of the 20th century, and works of present–day composers of St. Petersburg. In 1995 the  Choir won a prize of an international competition in Switzerland, and in 1997, a prize of an international competition in Spain. The ensemble has released three compact disks, and has made numerous recordings for radio and television.
